Vintage Thingie Thursday!

So here we are ... Vintage Thingie Thursday again. These weeks are really flying by... now only if the weather would get warmer! Make sure to stop by Suzanne's Blog Colorado Lady to see all the wonderful weekly vintage thingies. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Last week I showed off my half finished vanity, and since it is finished and now in the window... I though I would do an update...and also show off some Vintage Vanity Accessories this Thursday.

Here is the detail from the top of the vanity... sorry I couldn't get a brighter picture.

This is a great vintage tri-fold mirror. Its perfect to turn a small little desk into a vanity area.
Up close it has all the wonderful age spots of a truly old piece:)

Here you can see the wood back - which might be my favorite part!

This is a great little hand vanity mirror. Very Art Deco I think :)

I love the beveled glass and sweet little detailing on the top!

And here is the back! Also very pretty and ornate!

Happy Vintage Thingie Thursday Everyone!

How darling! My sister and I used to share a vanity - Mom made us each a large poodle lamp, and one of them sat on that vanity! She sewed a skirt for that little table, and we had a seat with a cushion that matched the skirt - it was so adorable - forgot about that until your post today!

I love it. I am fortunate enough to have an old vanity with a mirror full of old age spots :0) I even have an old hand mirror on it, lol!
I always imagine the stories the vintage pieces could share if they could only talk.
Glad you enjoyed my playlist. I put that up in recognition of Spring~My favorite season.
Hope you're having a great day!

I adore that mirror. I believe I need one just like it.

Your store is my dream. I'm working on getting my own brick and mortar. Currently I have a strange arrangement at a local shop that works for us but one day I want it to be all mine and then I can really get creative.

That's a cool three panel mirror. Somewhere I have a silver hand mirror that is ornate all over the back and handle. I never had a vanity and now I don't even have a dresser because I am using wall units with drawers on the bottom and shelves on the top--I bought those so I can store a lot of stuff in a small space.

I love that hand mirror - so pretty!! And the tri-fold mirror is great. Makes you wonder how things like that have survived and not broken. Sally

Oh, I just love that! My daughter still has her vanity here at my house, but has requested it to go to her house now! This little gem would fit the bill nicely....I wish you were close, you could consider that sold! Love it. Have a great week.
